…its been a while, but as promised we, Rico and I, have finalized some of our tools, and are more than happy to share them with you guys.
Some tools included in the package, the Viewport Region Render, similar to the one in Softimage but for Maya.
A custom TxManager, Texture Switch. for handling .tx files/conversions or scene textures in general in a maya scene or .ass file.
A Material ID Manager to handle simple shader mattes.
This project was done in our sparetime to become for efficient with python, qt and mtoa workflows. We are dedicated to improve our tools to enhance workflows and increase productivity.
It should work on Windows, OS X, and Linux (tested on fedora 20)
